For the boy who could fly…”you are sad” she said, “because
you are the boy who
could fly, yet you are surrounded by those who won’t.
Come away with me, and rather
than climb these purple walls, we will soar so high
we may never touch down again.”

Dreaming
In the quiet of the evening,
As the wind blows through my spirit,
I stand unshaken and undaunted
In the realm of waking dreams.
My dreams, your dreams, they call us into being.
If they have been shattered,
We stand in being shattered.
If they are large and right before us,
We stand large and ready for the awakening.
Our dreams are our reality,
When we let them.
Our failures are not failures,
Unless we quit and do not learn from them,
Or we push them on to others.
For then we not only fail ourselves,
But unknowingly bring those we love down with us.
If we stand in our dreams,
And learn from our dreams,
And share the power of our dreams,
Then we become who we were destined to be
And possibly larger than ever imagined.
And our spirits can dance, undaunted by the wind.
Rather, embracing the motion and change and loving
Every freeing minute of it.
The message from this story is, “Don’t let anyone get
in the way of who you know you are.
Don’t let them stop you. Let them jump on board or
jump out of the way
because you areon your track. And whatever you
do, don’t stop because someone
has given you a reality check. For that reality
is only their perspective.
Not yours, you are living into yours at this very
moment.”
